"Necromanteion" presents itself as a compendium of six long pieces created through a long process of Katabasis, followed until the informality and uncertainty of the hidden and dark places were exposed, assimilated and transmuted by the light of consciousness.

An ancient static energy and layers of mysterious liminal entities showed their presence, materializing themselves in the form of unknown and unheard words, names and vibrations, through a spontaneous process of interdimensional vocal channeling and frequency tuning, revealing a deep place of power, where time and linear thinking does not exist.

❤️My original plan was to go through and buy individual tracks like I do with most compilation albums, but honestly there are just so many good ones that I wound up buying the whole thing. More than simple drones (though there are plenty of those, too), this album collects many of the best and most innovative dark ambient artists in one place, including many who are new to me.
